Matisyahu, the beatboxing reggae star who sang Aug. 6 at Giants Jewish Heritage Night and will play Berkeley's Greek Theatre on Aug. 17, says he still looks to the Torah and Judaism for inspiration, but his view of Jewish law - halachah - has changed.
