Owens was the keyboardist for White and band The Mars Volta, as well as a member of Long Beach bands Free Moral Agents and Long Beach Dub All Stars. The 38-year-old Lakewood native was found dead this morning in the hotel Camino Real in the Mexican city of Puebla, according to Mexican news website Periodico Digital.
